Scalenohedral Calcite Cluster

This high-grade scalenohedral calcite cluster originates from Manaoshan Mine, Linwu County, Chenzhou City, Hunan Province, China, growing epitaxially on dark metallic hydrothermal matrix rock. Each calcite crystal bears unique three-radiating striations on its surface, presenting a tri-radial pattern resembling the Mercedes-Benz emblem. The calcite crystallizes into complete sharp scalenohedral (triangular pyramid) crystal forms with distinct stepped growth striations uniformly distributed on smooth crystal faces, exhibiting strong vitreous luster and good translucency. Crystals aggregate densely in layered flower-like clusters with varied crystal sizes and staggered orientations, forming a three-dimensional natural growth framework. Under ultraviolet irradiation, the whole calcite cluster emits vivid red fluorescence uniformly. Granular metallic minerals scatter across the dark matrix, creating a distinct textural contrast with the translucent light gray calcite crystals and enriching the geological layering of the specimen.

偏三角面体方解石晶簇标本

本件高品质偏三角面体方解石晶簇产自中国湖南省郴州市临武县玛瑙山矿，外延生长于深色热液金属围岩之上。晶体表面带有独特的三道放射状纹路，形成三叉放射结构，外观酷似奔驰车标形态。方解石发育为形态完整、棱边锐利的偏三角面体（三角锥状）晶形，平整晶面分布着规整的阶梯状生长纹，玻璃光泽强烈，晶体通透度良好；晶体呈层叠花状密集丛生聚合，晶粒大小错落、朝向各异，构筑出立体的原生生长构架。紫外光激发下，整簇方解石整体迸发均匀鲜亮的红色荧光。深色围岩上散布着粒状金属矿物，与通透浅灰色的方解石晶体形成鲜明质感对比，丰富标本的地质层次。
