Epidote-Epiphytic Clear Quartz Specimen from Meigu, Liangshan

This hydrothermal paragenetic specimen consists of a major euhedral hexagonal prismatic quartz crystal with sharp rhombohedral terminations, plus parallel-growth minor quartz crystals with high vitreous luster and good transparency. Tabular pistachio-green epidote crystals epitaxially grow on quartz faces, displaying complete monoclinic crystal form and bright adamantine luster. The matrix is composed of fine-grained garnet, albite and trace chlorite. The specimen features intact crystal edges and faces with excellent three-dimensional form.

四川凉山美姑 绿帘石附生白水晶标本

本热液成因共生标本，主体为自形六方柱状水晶，菱面体尖顶锐利，伴生平行生长的次级石英，玻璃光泽强、晶体通透。草绿色板状绿帘石外延附生于石英晶面，单斜晶形完整，金刚光泽鲜亮。基底由细粒石榴石、钠长石与微量绿泥石组成；标本晶棱、晶面完整，立体形态优异。
