This calcite specimen, collected in 2021 from Hubei, has a very interesting combination of crystal shapes. At the top is a triangular formation made from many intergrown, scale-like crystals, and surrounding it are many long "nail head" crystals. Inside the "nail head" crystals are rust-red phantoms, made even more eye catching by the waxy luster on every surface.
