This specimen of phantom fluorite is from the well-known Yaogangxian mine in Hunan, China. It is made from aggregated crystals of many sizes and is a lovely, pastel blue color in the center, with edges lined with threads of deep, saturated purple. To complete this dreamy piece, a dusting of calcite tops the crystals like freshly fallen snow.
