This specimen featuring barite and quartz is especially eye-catching. The way these pure white, satiny barite crystals grew makes them almost appear as if they are floating in mid air. Their orthorhombic shape is also particularly sharp and well-defined. Around the back and scattered in between the larger barite crystals, you can see dozens of totally clear quartz points, which add even more visual interest to this already striking piece.
