Pyrite Concretion (also called Iron Gall Stone ）from Xiaohcun, Dongchuan District, Kunming City, Yunnan Province, China.

Geological horizon: Cambrian carbonaceous mudstone and siltstone sedimentary strata. These spherical aggregates are formed by pyrite microcrystals gradually precipitating and growing around organic debris in ancient marine sedimentary environment. The crystals are compactly intergrown, presenting fine metallic luster and regular spherical shape, with low oxidation degree and stable appearance.
