Bipyramidal Calcite with Hexagonal Prismatic Calcite, Green Octahedral Fluorite, Druzy Quartz & Pyrite

This specimen originates from Xiayang, Yongtai County, Fuzhou City, Fujian Province, China. Bipyramidal calcite forms the host matrix. Hexagonal prismatic calcite and green octahedral fluorite grow upon the host crystal. The surfaces of the bipyramidal calcite and green fluorite are covered by drusy quartz, with minor pyrite microcrystals scattered within the mineral assemblage. Calcite of two distinct crystal habits coexists with fluorite, creating a gorgeous composite mineral specimen.

双锥方解石伴六方柱状方解石、八面体绿色萤石、晶簇石英与黄铁矿

标本产自中国福建省福州市永泰县夏阳。双锥方解石构成基底围岩，六方柱状方解石与绿色八面体萤石生长于主晶之上。双锥方解石与绿色萤石表面被晶簇状石英覆盖，矿物组合间散布少量黄铁矿微晶。两种不同晶形的方解石与萤石伴生共存，是观赏性优异的复合矿物标本。
