Specularite and Calcite Paragenetic Specimen

This mineral specimen is mined from the Eren Gaobi Iron Mine, East Ujimqin Banner, Inner Mongolia, China. The specularite forms unique spherical aggregates stacked layer by layer with flaky crystals, presenting extremely brilliant metallic luster with strong sparkling reflective effects. Radial specularite aggregates perfectly intergrow with bladed and layered calcite. The calcite crystals develop distinct parallel growth striations and show vivid orange-red fluorescence under long-wave ultraviolet light.

镜铁矿与方解石共生标本

本标本产自中国内蒙古东乌珠穆沁旗额仁高壁铁矿。标本中的镜铁矿为独特的球状集合体，由片状晶体层层堆叠成型，自带极强的金属镜面光泽，反光耀眼、闪烁感十足。放射状镜铁矿晶簇与叶片层状方解石天然共生，方解石晶体纹路清晰，带有规整的平行生长纹，在长波紫外灯下可呈现鲜亮的橙红色荧光。
