The large, cone-shaped crystals of light pink calcite on this specimen are extremely distinctive. Their surfaces, which are extremely waxy and lustrous, are covered in small, stepped growth, giving the largest of the crystals an appearance that reminds us of an ancient Egyptian pyramid. A piece like this is definitely not something you see every day!
